Hi, I’m Nan and I’m so glad you’re here.

Life is a Journey – and How Lucky Am I?

How often do we imagine making changes in our lives—only to push the thought aside because it feels too hard, we don’t know where to start, or we simply don’t have the energy or focus?

I’ve been there. Many times.

Decades ago, my smoking habit was something I really wanted to overcome. It made me feel bad about myself. After years of wishing and trying to quit, one day I rallied my inner resources—spurred by a fresh vision of who I wanted to be—and finally took it on. That decision changed everything, bringing me closer to the person I longed to become.

Twenty years later, it was my weight. I’d gained more than 75 pounds, but day after day, I couldn’t summon the will to face it. Until one morning I said to myself, enough is enough. I sought help, and once again my life shifted in a profound way.

More recently, it was my nightly glass (or two) of wine. I wanted to cut back or skip days, but the willpower never seemed to last. Then a colleague introduced me to Annie Grace’s 30-Day Alcohol Experiment. That single resource didn’t just transform my relationship with alcohol—it changed my whole inner landscape. Today, alcohol feels small and irrelevant and that change has brought me even closer to the person I want to be.

Here’s what I’ve learned: my journey with alcohol wasn’t the end goal—it was a doorway. What began as curiosity about one habit opened into a much deeper exploration of personal and spiritual growth. A path toward my authentic self. A place where joy feels genuine and lasting.

Now, as a Certified Coach with This Naked Mind, I help others do the same—exploring old patterns and habits that quietly hold them back. If any part of my story resonates with you, I’d be honored to walk alongside you on your own journey toward becoming the person you truly want to be.
